The transition to ISO/IEC 27001:2013 builds on Datum’s existing ISO27001, 50001 and 9001 accreditation and PCI DSS compliance to further demonstrate Datum’s ability to provide a safe and energy efficient environment for critical IT infrastructures to its customers. The new, more stringent accreditation for information security, ISO 27001:2013, complies with the principles of the ISO 31000 Risk Management Standard and is UKAS accredited. The transition to the new standard also supports the security standards required by Datum customers who provide a process-driven approach to information security – including clear requirements for consideration by all interested parties and their information security-related requirements.
